Welcome to our Project Blog -!!!
This is the second term we have been collaborating with Uthango Social Investments for our first-semester architectural sustainable design building project. I am looking forward to the discovery we will make together.
This blog is to document the process and results for a design project in the Architectural Design: Foundation Studies I class at Delaware Technical & Community College, Stanton Campus, Newark DE USA. The project is to investigate proposals for sustainable design housing prototypes for use in the redevelopment effort in South Africa to replace existing marginal housing in the township areas. Our focus was in the Cape Town, South Africa area as we have contact with the Uthango Social Investments group though Second Life. This is our second semester of collaboration with them, with a new group of students.
